WHOA. Seriously, whoa. I am blown away by the response to the first edition of my newsletter! I have sooo much love for the awesome people in my life. Thank you all! Living with intention, loving with my whole heart, serving with authenticity — those things are my jam. That's how I show up in this world and I'm proud of that.

But, to be completely honest, this industry has been kicking my ass.

Because in order to be able to actually do my job as an agent, I have to have clients. And in order to have clients, I have to have a solid self-marketing strategy. And for me, that’s super freaking hard. I know that I’m genuine, professional as hell, and will work harder than anybody else. But I’m NOT gonna be all up in everyone’s face about it. Ew, David.

So for most of 2024, I was stuck here: “…how to be fiercely & authentically myself while conveying my top-notch professionalism and expertise without being too pushy or sales-y or real-estate-agent-y while also being direct and assertive and setting boundaries while also riding an emotional rollercoaster but oops don’t let anyone see that part…”

Woof.

At the very beginning of 2025, I had an aha moment on the drive home from Breckenridge:

Stop overwhelming yourself with “how to convey yourself as valuable." You already ARE valuable. So just be you. Be the most freaking valuable *you* that you’ve ever been. Show people your bad-ass valuable self and how you’re showing up in this industry and in your life. And have FUN with it, damnit!

BOOM.💥

So here I am, writing Edition 2 of a newsletter that I created from my heart to yours, to provide value in the most authentically Lizzie way possible.

(Oh, side note: It wasn’t like the movies. Everything in my life didn’t all of a sudden just fall into place after that moment. No freaking way. But that realization was profound enough for me to make a commitment to approach my real estate career from an entirely new perspective. Once you shift your mindset from “this is kicking my ass” to “I’m gonna kick some ass” — magic happens. Focus on what you can control, see challenges as creative opportunities, live with intention and purpose and from a place of service, and no matter what, do not give up. You might have to change directions a few times, sure. That’s life. But don’t you ever give up.)

No matter where you are in your journey of life, if you’re reading this and it speaks to you, then it’s meant for you. YOU GOT THIS.

And don’t forget to have fun with it.

do you really need an agent as a buyer?

YES. Yaaaaasss, you really do. But let me emphasize that you need the right agent for you. As a buyer, you want someone that you trust, that you know will fiercely advocate on your behalf, and that you like to spend time with. Remember earlier when I said don’t forget to have fun with it? 😎 Buying a home is a complex process, and it can easily turn into chaos and stress. But if you have a really good agent (that is the right agent for you), it should be FUN! My goal as an agent is to take the stress away and make it an exciting journey. It's my commitment to each and every client to hold their financial and emotional well-being at the center of my actions and advice. I want my clients to understand the process and feel comfortable asking questions. Every real estate transaction is different, just like every individual is different. You need an agent that takes the time to get to know you and comes up with a strategic plan of how they will be your partner to turn your goals into reality.
